Directions to the Washington Cancer Institute at the Washington Hospital Center, 110 Irving St., NW, Washington, DC,  (202) 877-3900 
Washington Cancer Institute is located on the grounds of Washington Hospital Center on a medical campus shared with National Rehabilitation Hospital, Children's National Medical Center and the Veterans Administration Medical Center. The campus is situated just off North Capitol Street, between Irving Street and Michigan Avenue. The Catholic University of America and Trinity College are neighbors on the east side of North Capitol Street.

 

Turn into the driveway for the Washington Cancer Institute. Proceed past the Pavilion II parking lot to the Pavilion I parking lot by the hospital’s main entrance. The Washington Cancer Institute is next door to the main hospital. Look for signs to the Seigel Auditorium, which is on the first floor. Turn left as you enter the Institute. 

 

From Montgomery County: Via Wisconsin or Connecticut Avenues
From Wisconsin Avenue heading south, turn left onto Western Avenue (at the District line) and take the first right onto Military Road. From Connecticut Avenue heading south, turn left onto Military Road. Follow Military Road to the intersection of Georgia Avenue where Military becomes Missouri Avenue. Continue on Missouri Avenue. Turn right onto North Capitol Street. Follow North Capitol Street south to the Washington Hospital Center exit (Irving Street, West). Turn left at the first light onto the Washington Hospital Center campus. Follow signs to parking. 

 

From Northern Virginia: Take I-395. Veer off towards the “D” St exit by the U.S. Capitol. Remain on I-395 to New York Avenue. (Look for a stop light.) Turn right onto New York Ave. At the third stop sign, turn left onto First St., N.W. Continue on First Street to the medical campus. (You’ll cross the intersection of First St. and Michigan). Turn left into the third driveway for the Washington Cancer Institute. 

 
Metro: Take the Red Line to the Brookland/Catholic University stop. Take the H2 or H4 bus to the hospital.
